Photography

As medium, photography is certainly one that is, perhaps, almost embedded in me. Since I was a child, I was surrounded by pictures of every kind, sepia, black and whites, colours; they were on walls and bedside tables, shelves and cabinets, without counting those in boxes, baggages, photo albums, and a very special wooden and leather truck.

Mostly, they were captured by my father’s, others, belonging to my grandparents, taken by who knows…

I remember spending so much time looking at them, wondering who those people were, where those places were , when they were taken. What fascinated me the most was, it did not matter how many times I looked at them, I’ve always found new details, new stories, new worlds.

For me photography wasn’t, still isn’t, only about looking at the pictures or to reminisce memories, but to travel through time and space.
